Mommy and Me

Alec and I got to spend a whole day together while Daddy played in Cincinnati with Uncle Kevin. We went to the library and got seven books, Alec couldn't stop picking them out. Then we headed to see Burke and Evan play t-ball. Alec got to play on the playground and then we headed to lunch. After that we went to visit the Rossi family. Fun with little Jett and pizza and even more playgrounds. Alec was a marathon runner, he was running all over the place across the soccer fields. Luckily for Mommy this put him right to sleep at eight on the dot.

Hoppy Easter!

Dana was such a big help taking Alec on all the jumpers at the Jump Yard. Alec just loved it all!!

The hoola hoop contest begins with Hayden...

And Dana...

And of course Alec!

Unfortunately not too many pics my camera battery died, isn't that always how it goes. We had such a wonderful time in Cleveland. Lots of playing, Easter Egg hunts and family.

Lazy Blogger

So I am a lazy blogger these days. Only posting when I get the chance to upload photos. Lots of fun in this house with Alec growing bigger and bigger everyday and of course smarter too! Of course like everyone we are getting a little stir crazy with winter lasting so long. We are definitely looking forward to warmer days and lots of play outside. Enjoy the photos!

Alec running around in stripes and argyles.

Alec and his cousins playing Mario Kart, Alec didn't know he wasn't actually playing.

Mommy's latest invention, MONSTER SPRAY. Poor Alec is so scared of monsters these days. So a few sprays around the house and we are monster free.

Mommy had fun at a bachelorette party this weekend. I got to hang with my girls. Here is Amy, Becca and Kim!

More sisterly fun with Jamie and Kim.

Alec eating cupcakes at Kristin's Shower. Everyone loved his purple frosting face.

Finally

Finally some time to post some pics. This is for you Nana and Papa!

These are my favorite PJs, space ships. Check out my new hair cut!

Here is my big boy bed. Last weekend Alec figured out how to climb out the crib but didn't like the big bed. So we tried the tent in the crib, it seems to have worked well, he only gets up once a night.

CRACK KILLS!

I think someone is anxious for spring. Anybody need their lawn mowed?

So thankful part 2

Day 11: I am thankful to the men and women who have and continue to preserve my freedom. And I am so proud to include my niece in those brave realms.

Day 12: I am thankful for my beautiful comfy bed. After days like these it always puts me comfortably to sleep. It may be the only thing that I have ever purchased that I use and respect daily!

Day 13: I am thankful that today should be my last Saturday that I have to work this year. Please Lord God almighty we all need a break.

Day 14: I am thankful for the wonderful recipes that my Mom has taught and shared with me. She has instilled my love of cooking/baking. Thanks to her I made a wonderful soul warming chicken and dumpling stew with cherry cobbler for dessert. Something to keep us warm on these ever coldening days.

Day 15: I am very thankful when my office has heat. Unfortunately today is not that day but I will be very thankful to the men that repair it and get it running again.
