Well I think I can say it is official, I have a belly. It has been confirmed by the Admins at our work and by Jonny as he was drumming his chopsticks on it last night at dinner.
So for the last two weeks I have been going through this weird body transformation at 8:00 pm or so. The clock would strike and all of a sudden my stomach would balloon up, but by morning it would go back down to normal. I think it was some strange way for my body to prepare for the belly. I'll try to get a belly shot for everyone to see.
My next appointment is February 1 where we get the full ultrasound and make sure that everything is ok. Everything went well at the last appointment except for the "your blood is funny" comment from the doctor. Which basically means that I get to take a baby aspirin a day to "work on it".
All is well at the Sheard household. We still haven't touched the baby room but I'm sure it is coming, especially once we get the master bath done. Unfortunately, I think our list of things to do keeps growing.
