I'm Such A Good Boy

I go back to sleep around 5:00 am but I just can't get comfortable past 6 am.  But I love snuggling with Mommy and Daddy in fact my head has to be touching one of them and then I'll sleep until 8 am.

I went for a walk with Mommy and Daddy and was just a bit awake.  In fact I looked like a deer in headlights, but I love going on walks I'm just not a fan of the hoodie.

So I wasn't too thrilled with my first bath but now I love them.  Rubber Duckie you're the one...

Me and my doggie towel.

Don't I have a cute mug...

Random Thoughts

So I have some very cute pictures... they are from random moments this week.
Alec turned two months this week, this is him in the 12 month shirt Nana got him.  At least he's smiling in this one.

Daddy's teaching him guitar already!  Alec loves it he sings along.

I have been trying really hard to get Alec to sleep in his crib.  Right now he will at least lay in it and now that he sees the fish mobile he doesn't scream bloody murder.  My only success has been laying him down once he has fallen asleep.  I think the longest he has slept in it is a half hour.  I'll have to try during his long afternoon nap.

Big Weekend for a Good Boy

So we have discovered that Alec loves being outdoors.  On Friday we went to the park with Aunt Pauline and the boys.  Lots of running and lots of fun.  Saturday we went to the doggie park with Jason LeBeau, to let Woody and Hazel run free.  They were unusually good.  Then Alec went to his first party.  He slept through the loud music and crazy people, Jon and I were super protective of him.  Even though he was asleep he was the hit of the party. Sunday we saw Daddy rocking out at church, Alec didn't care too much for the drums but still managed to sleep through Mute Math and the Killers.  He of course sported his "Daddy Rocks" shirt.  He then got his fill of football (Lions lost) with Daddy while I cleaned.

He has been such a good boy this weekend.  The poor thing has had awful gas, he really doesn't cry but he has a hard time sleeping.  Jon and I are amazed at the length and volume of farts coming out of him, in this regards he sounds like a big boy.  Last night at 4:30 am he was wide awake with gas.  He just would not drift off to sleep for me.  Finally, I was so tired I just put him in his car seat a.k.a. bed and he fell asleep on his own and didn't wake up until 8 am.  I was amazed, he doesn't normally sleep that long on a good day.  Well we are off to the grocery store we are having Grandma and Grandpa over for dinner!

Labor Day Fun

Hey this is Alec, I'm giving Mommy a break and thought I would take over the blog.  Labor day was so much fun, we went up north to the Cottage.  It was the entire Sheard family in one cozy little house.  I was such a good boy on the trip up we only had to stop once, I can get mighty hungry.  While we were up there I went on my first boat ride of Grand Lake.  Apparently we went to the sandbar, I don't know I was napping, a boy needs his rest.  We also went to Lake Huron and ate ice cream (well Mommy did anyway).  Grandma was so cool she cooked great food for Mommy and held me tons.  I can't wait to go back.  Hey check out the pics Mom took.

I was all cozy in my life jacket and SPF sun suit, I slept during the entire trip!

Grandma held me so Mommy and Daddy could go swimming!  Thanks Grandma!

Mommy told me my cousins had fun playing at the sandbar.

I'm chillin' with Daddy, hoping Mommy gets a little more sleep.

Hey I missed the sandcastle that Aunt Pauline made at Lake Huron.  I take too many naps.

Boys will be boys, I can't wait to join in the fun.

Burke and Evan were showing me how strong I would get if I keep eating.

Say cheese!
