It is hard for mommy to get a shot with all of me in it now, I'm getting so big.

Look I Can Roll Over

So he has been able to roll over from his stomach to his back for a while now but just last week started rolling over from his back to his stomach.  He actually prefers to roll over that way now!

Baptism

Mr. Man got baptized this weekend. It was such a wonderful ceremony. We are so blessed to have wonderful friends and family that traveled to support us, a beautiful healthy baby boy, great Godparents (Aunt Cathy and Uncle Kevin). Thank you so to everyone that came we love you dearly!

Happy Thanksgiving

So my Grandpa loves his sweater vests. So much so that Daddy suggested that he and I wear some to Thanksgiving dinner. Afterall, they keep your body warm and your arms free! If mommy could only get the pictures to moves the right way, you would see how cute we are!

Growing Up So Quickly

Mr. Man is losing his mullet!  He was born with this thick wring of hair that surrounded the base of his head.  We just noticed that it is falling out on the sides.  I'll kind of miss the mullet look.

Mmm Mmm Good

So I have been doing the cereal thing for the past couple nights, I'm thinking I like it but not too sure.  Sometimes I cry, sometimes I spit it out but I seem to be eating more and more of it.  Daddy is too silly, one of his friends was over watching me eat and of course there was a bet.  Daddy finished my bowl of cereal for 20 bucks.  He swears it wasn't too bad.  Here's some pictures of me hanging out.  I'm having fun staying at home with Mommy today.

War of the Wills

Alec: Hi! I'm Alec, I'm 4 months old. 

Mommy:  Alec is getting so big.

Alec:  I'm having fun with the high chair a bit.  I guess I'll let Mommy eat.

Mommy:  He is just so darn adorable playing in his chair.

Alec: What is this??

Mommy: Come on it is good I promise, it will make your belly feel nice and full.

Alec: I want nothing to do with this lady, get that spoon out of my mouth. aghghghghghgh

Mommy: Pleaeaeassse, I need sleep.  You are getting up five times a night to eat.  (tear, tear).

4 Months and Counting

Alec is 4 months old now, wow how time flys. I don't have his picture yet but I thought I would give you his stats. He is now 25.25 inches long and 13 lbs 12 oz. He is in the 75 percentile for height and head size a tiny bit low on weight. We got the go ahead to start cereal so stay tuned for fun pictures!!

Back to work

Well I'm officially back to work.  It is fine not much has changed.  I'm handling it much better than I anticipated but the real hard part is to not be overcome with stress and instead come home and enjoy every moment with my little one.

Aunt Pauline is watching Alec and she is doing an awesome job!!  She gives me a little report everyday with what he has done.  Check out her blog too for some adorable pictures!

Apples and Pumpkins

We made one last trip to Cleveland before I headed back to work in late October.  It was lots of fun and we even got out a bit and went apple pickin'.  We went with Cathy (my sis) and Hayden and Dana.  We had so much fun and once again Little Man was asleep.

Three Months Old

Check me out I'm 3 months old,  here is my picture and a funny face when I take my vitamins.  About two weeks ago I was 23.5 inches long and 11 lbs 1 oz.  I'm getting so big.

Computer... internet... blogger troubles

OK everyone I have been having a horrible time with the computer, the internet, blogger ugh.  Hang in there I have been trying for two weeks to get tons of pictures posted so stay tuned.  

Alec is doing wonderful growing big.  He rolled over last week he has done it about a half dozen times, he only does it on his tummy.  It is actually more that he raises his head so high that the weight turns him over, but I'm still proud.  Thanks to some advice from Julie, he is now sleeping in his crib although he does wake up whenever he wants, he really isn't too consistent.  I have to bundle him up and bind his arms in order for him to sleep in there, he looks like a little Hudini.  We are headed to Cleveland again for a nice long stay, we can't wait to see everyone.

The Adventures of Traveling Alec

So little Alec has been a traveling fool, first we went to Cleveland to visit the family and then to Chicago for Joe and Chrissy's wedding (Congrats you two)!!  Check out Alec's finer moments.

I'm Such A Good Boy

I go back to sleep around 5:00 am but I just can't get comfortable past 6 am.  But I love snuggling with Mommy and Daddy in fact my head has to be touching one of them and then I'll sleep until 8 am.

I went for a walk with Mommy and Daddy and was just a bit awake.  In fact I looked like a deer in headlights, but I love going on walks I'm just not a fan of the hoodie.

So I wasn't too thrilled with my first bath but now I love them.  Rubber Duckie you're the one...

Random Thoughts

So I have some very cute pictures... they are from random moments this week.

Alec turned two months this week, this is him in the 12 month shirt Nana got him.  At least he's smiling in this one.

Daddy's teaching him guitar already!  Alec loves it he sings along.

I have been trying really hard to get Alec to sleep in his crib.  Right now he will at least lay in it and now that he sees the fish mobile he doesn't scream bloody murder.  My only success has been laying him down once he has fallen asleep.  I think the longest he has slept in it is a half hour.  I'll have to try during his long afternoon nap.

So it has been a little chilly up here specially at night, so we thought we would keep Alec warm with a hat...  he is too cute!!
